The people who aren't happy with the story wanted to hate Abbey, but instead were forced to feel empathy for her. This is why I believe some of the haters did not play through the whole game themselves. You slowly grow to feel empathy for Abbey by playing the entire game. I definitely would not have had the same experience if I hadn't played the whole game myself and just watched the cut scenes, or watched someone else stream a play through. Makes so much sense now, after playing the game in full and seeing how it ends. The first was, 'The journey, companionship, fate and destiny', while Part 2's themes are, 'vengeance and the cycle of violence'. This game and the first have been given different themes. Better than the first and my new all time favourite game tied with God of War. Technically and gameplay wise it is the best 3rd person shooter I've ever played and best stealth game, too. I gotta say, I was expecting a bad ending, too but was pleasantly surprised. Now, this kind of editing is common in cinema, but to have it in a game is really impressive. It reminds me of the editing in Pulp Fiction, which took some people time to get used to. Blew me away! The editing in this game is beyond impressive. If you've played the remastered version, it might take a few tries before you get used to the gameplay on the remake.Finished The Last of Us Part II and started Survival+. The Last of Us Part I also tries to improve its gameplay. That's not to say the remastered version looks bad, but keep in mind that we're talking about a decade-old game. While the story remains the same, you'll experience Joel and Ellie's adventure on a different level. Still, The Last of Us Part I remake offers different modes, including a Native 4K at 30fps and Dynamic 4K at 60fps-of course, you'll also need a good 4K TV.Īll this to say that The Last of Us Part I looks and feels amazing on the PS5. It's worth mentioning that The Last of Us Remastered still offers a 1080p resolution at 60fps on the PS5.

This means you can expect real-time rendering, new, more realistic character models, and better graphics across the board. While the remastered version only improved the graphics, frame rate, and resolution, The Last of Us Part I was built specifically for the PS5 and PC. For starters, The Last of Us remake was completely rebuilt from the ground up.
